Portland, Ore. — Karen M. Faunt, DVM, MS, Dipl. ACVIM, was appointed vice president/chief medical officer for Banfield, The Pet Hospital.
Faunt has been a team member with the practice since 2002 and has served in a number of roles, most recently as senior director of Veterinary School Partnerships.
"I look forward to leading our practice, as well as collaborating with industry leaders, to chart the future of pet health care," Faunt says in a prepared statement.
