Seminars in this section expand upon the concepts presented in the Principles Course and add new subjects for discussion. The course emphasizes different areas of canine orthopaedics each year. Fractures, nonunion, arthrodesis, orthopaedic complications and corrective osteotomies, including Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy are among the topics covered. The Faculty will present new techniques and innovative orthopaedic concepts. Participant interaction with the Faculty is an important part of this program. There is ample opportunity in both the laboratories and the seminars to have your questions answered by some of the best veterinary orthopedists in the world.
After the course, participants should be able to apply the techniques they have learned to challenging orthopaedic cases.
