Advanced Small Animal Ultrasound

This program will offer the small animal clinician an advanced level instruction in the diagnostic ultrasound of important small parts including scanning routine, basic measurements and image optimization. Additionally, ultrasound guided tissue sampling techniques will be introduced. Four hours of lectures will cover abdominal and cervical small organ sonographic anatomy and scanning routine for both dogs and cats as well as techniques for ultrasound guided tissue sampling. Four hours of hands on opportunities will be provided on normal dogs and tissue sampling phantoms.Registrants select one day to attend, and seating is limited. Taught at a DVM level, registrants should have basic ultrasound techniques experience.
