ST. PAUL, MINN.— American Association of Bovine Practitioners' (AABP) board members voted during the group's annual meeting in September to establish a charitable foundation.
Tentatively titled the AABP Foundation, creation of the autonomous program is in the works. The goal: to enhance and quicken the movement of donated funds toward research, distance learning and student scholarships. To jumpstart the foundation, $200,000 in AABP long-term assets was allocated for its implementation.
