- Dechra announced earlier this week that it has received FDA approval for marbofloxacin, terbinafine, and dexamethasone otic suspension (Ostiserene; Dechra). This new medication is to treat canine patients with otitis externa through a single dose of medication administered by a veterinary professional.
- Cronus Pharma issued a voluntary recall of a prescription sedative and analgesic for companion animals as a precautionary measure due to the presence of visible particulate matter in one lot each for 2 products containing dexmedetomidine hydrochloride injection 0.5 mg/mL (Dexased, Aspen; and Dexmedvet, Cronus Pharma).
