Liz Hughston MEd, RVT, CVT, LVT, LMVT, VTS (SAIM) (ECC): It really is the only way to create systematic systemic change in the profession, is to work through these organized associations. And as you know, from being on the board, it's eye-opening to participate in these, like in a state board meeting. To go to this your state's veterinary medical board or board of governors . . . I tell people it's like the most interesting, boring thing you can do with your day. It's interesting because of the issues that they're dealing with that you don't even think about, right?
