What Is Carysta, How Does It Work?

The system is designed for private veterinary practices and hospitals that have a high volume of patients and complete upwards of 10 chemistries per day.

Carysta HVC is a brand new, high-volume chemistry system from Zoetis, explains Matthew Krecic, DVM, MS, MBA, DACVIM (SAIM), senior technical services manager for the company. The system is designed for private veterinary practices and hospitals that have a high volume of patients and complete upwards of 10 chemistries per day.

Carysta HVC is reference lab quality, Dr. Krecic says, and significantly cuts down on the turn-around time veterinarians normally wait for results. This could make a significant difference in how you’re going manage a patient or even engage in discussions with a pet owner about what may or may not be happening with their pet, he adds.
