Virbac partners with MapMyWalk on dog walking challenge tied to mobility supplements
The Keep Moving Activation ties in-app walking milestones to discount codes for Virbac's URSOLYX and MOVOFLEX chews.
Virbac has partnered with MapMyWalk, a GPS-based walking and fitness app, on a consumer campaign encouraging dog owners to log walks with their pets. The Keep Moving Activation, announced August 28, links in-app walking challenges to Virbac's canine joint and muscle-health supplement line.
The Dog Days of Summer Challenge runs through September 27, 2026: participants log 10 walking, running, or hiking activities with their dogs to hit 5 milestones. Those who complete 4 receive a discount code for URSOLYX Soft Chews for Dogs.1 A second challenge, Fall Flex, runs October 13 through November 12 and offers a discount on MOVOFLEX Advanced Soft Chews to those completing 4 of its activities. Participation is free through the MapMyWalk app.
According to Virbac, more than half of dogs age 7 and older experience muscle atrophy and joint or muscle changes affecting quality of life.
"Make every walk count"
"Movement is a powerful indicator of a pet's health, and it's something dogs and their owners share every day," said Mark Champ, vice president of marketing for Virbac US, in an announcement.1 "By teaming up with MapMyWalk, we're encouraging pet parents to make every walk count, for their dog's mobility and their own."
Both challenges are open nationwide to MapMyWalk users at no additional cost beyond app access.
