The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) recently announced its intention to form a commission to address diversity, equity, and inclusion issues in veterinary medicine. Banfield Pet Hospital revealed in Diversify Veterinary Medicine Coallition to tackle the same issues. The Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges announced a working group focusing on exchange and scholarship programs to improve outreach and collaboration with minority-serving institutions.
