San Diego -- Dr. Marty Becker takes the stage tomorrow to deliver a keynote address for CVC San Diego.

-- Dr. Marty Becker will teach you how to reach the summit of veterinary practice, without falling off. It's all part of his keynote address tomorrow evening to help kick off CVC San Diego.
Becker's presentation, slated for the Hilton San Diego Bayfront from 7-9 p.m., promises to inspire and motivate veterinarians and veterinary team members, conference organizers report. Becker is a regular contributor to "Good Morning America" and a noted author of multiple books including "Chick Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul."
CVC San Diego began its pre-convention programming Wednesday featuring Veterinary Economics' Managers' Retreat, Hospital Design Highlights, Progress in Practice Seminars and Firstline Live which featured a talk by management expert Shawn McVey titled "Co-worker cohesiveness: A solid team is good for you and pets."
The veterinary conference features 600-plus hours of continuing education for veterinarians and team members from Nov. 4-7 at the San Diego Convention Center.
Clinical sessions also started today with topics ranging from dermatology, endocrinology to feline medicine.
All-day clinical programs rev up tomorrow through Sunday, Nov. 7 with a plethora of offerings for veterinarians and team members on topics like veterinary dentistry, cardiology, dermatology, orthopedics, endocrinology, equine, bovine and feline medicine.
CVC San Diego tapped leading veterinary experts from varied disciplines to take on current trends in medical management. Some notable speakers include: Drs. Larry Tilley, Alan Rebar, Dawn Boothe, Sandra Manfra Marretta, Craig Griffin, Alice Wolf, Barrak Pressler, Stephen DiBartola, Kurt Grimm and others.The exhibit hall features the latest in imaging and diagnostic technology, vaccines, pharmaceuticals, veterinary nutrition and business products from an array of animal-health companies. The exhibit hall opens on Friday from 10:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
