“Props that we have at the clinic. We are really, really big on traction mats—that’s a fancy word for yoga mats. We buy them in bulk; we go through them a lot. They’re important for not only just making the patient more comfortable—slippery surfaces are not comfortable for almost every single animal. Cats especially; they like something a bit warmer. It’s easier for them to get acclimated if they’re comfortable. One thing we’re super passionate about is geriatrics. Geriatrics especially might have degenerative join disease, osteoarthritis, they might just have some general difficulty in the progression of their arthritis, so giving them that stabilization is really, really important.”
