Trigger-Lock Syringe

December 1, 2005

NJ Phillips Pty Ltd announces the release of the Trigger-Lock Syringe™. The control-released syringe is for use with injectable animal-health products.

The custom-designed syringe is made to deliver intended doses of vaccines and injectable antibiotics more accurately while reducing the likelihood of unplanned injections.

The product is constructed of durable plastic, while the hand piece of the syringe features a trigger-lock mechanism that prevents movement of the plunger until it is manually released.

The trigger-lock syringe connects to the bottle of injectable liquid to be administered through the clear, plastic tubing and secures the needle with a specialized needle-nut assembly.

The syringe's injectable volume can be set in .5 mL increments from .5 mL to 5 mL, which allows flexibility when treating livestock of varying weights.

NJ Phillips Pty Ltd names Durvet Inc., the exclusive U.S. importer of the Trigger-Lock Syringe. Elanco Animal Health will have a limited supply.
