Texas refines licensure rules
Austin - The Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners will no longer accept licensure applications through any reciprocal licensing agreements or by endorsement.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — The Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners will no longer accept licensure applications through any reciprocal licensing agreements or by endorsement.

The licensing changes were published May 20 and took effect May 29. The board also ruled that it would only accept certified National Board Examination scores from the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) or the official reporting service for the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).
