Schering-Plough Animal Health Corp. introduces MaxiVac® Excell withEmunade®, the first bivalent swine influenza vaccine containing field-provenantigens used in more than 70 million doses nationwide. MaxiVac Excell isthe only bivalent flu vaccine that reduces viral shedding from both thelungs and nasal passages, the company says. MaxiVac Excell has a pre-slaughter21-day withdrawal time.
