This conference focuses on the practical approaches to the most up-to-date standards in anesthetic machines and monitors. The common anesthetic monitors will be discussed - including the importance of each, the cost-to-benefit ratio and how to incorporate them into the busy veterinary practice. This conference will also emphasize the importance of the veterinary technician in their role as anesthetist, especially when monitoring without monitors. Specific cases showing how to incorporate each unique machine and monitor will be presented. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of the common machines and monitors as well as be exposed to state-of-the art equipment that may easily be used in their progressive practice.
