To commemorate World Health Day, Deborah Thomson sat down with dvm360® to define the One Health concept and approach.

During a dvm360^® interview at the 2021 Atlantic Coast Veterinary Conference (ACVC), veterinarian Deborah Thomson, DVM, discussed how One Health can be explained in 2 different ways: One Health concept and One Health approach.

Deborah Thomson, DVM: The One Health approach is teamwork between people of different backgrounds, strengths, [and] disciplines. We come together and we prevent and solve complicated health problems.
