This course is intended to review basic principles of canine and feline nutrition. A nutrient review will be provided outlining important aspects of carbohydrate, lipid, protein, vitamin, and mineral physiology and metabolism. Aspects of canine and feline nutrition will be discussed. A brief overview of pet food labels will be given.
