The following is a transcript of the video:
Erica Brandt, CVT, VTS (ECC): The “Days of Our Nine Lives: Kitties in Crisis” is one of my favorite presentations. I am definitely a cat lover, and being in emergency and critical care, I love taking care of cats in emergency setting.
In this presentation, we're really going to talk about not only recognizing emergencies in cats [and] how we treat them initially for those emergencies, but looking at presenting to the emergency hospital from the cat's point of view, and how we can help them have a better experience and we can ultimately treat them. If they get fearful and upset and we don't help with some of those behavior issues, it's very hard to treat them for an emergency.
