
Paws & profits: Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Vetnique Labs, and Royal Canin announce executive appointments
New leadership moves, recognition, and achievement.
Recently, Royal Canin has promoted a longtime leader to oversee its Healthy Pet and Pet Specialty portfolio in North America. Meanwhile, Vetnique Labs has selected a consumer industry executive to guide the company’s next phase of global growth, and Hill’s Pet Nutrition has named a new executive vice president to lead its global supply chain operations.
Kira Best, BSBA, general manager, Healthy Pet & Pet Specialty, Royal Canin
Royal Canin has promoted Kira Best, BSBA, to general manager of Healthy Pet and Pet Specialty, where she will oversee the company’s Healthy Pet portfolio across North America. Best has more than a decade of experience within Royal Canin and most recently served as vice president of e-commerce and digital. In that role, she led initiatives to expand digital capabilities, develop e-commerce strategies, and strengthen subscription offerings with major online retailers.
Best will now guide product lines, including Breed Health Nutrition and Size Health Nutrition diets designed for specific dog breeds and life stages. “I’m thrilled to take on a new role supporting our healthy pet portfolio and serving more cats and dogs across North America,” Best said in a company statement.1 “Pets have become such a valuable part of our families, and how we feed them feels personal. It’s a tremendous privilege to help meet the evolving needs of pet owners, and I'm looking forward to leading this team as we prioritize pet health through nutrition."
Noel Geoffroy, MBA, global CEO, Vetnique Labs
Vetnique Labs has named Noel Geoffroy, MBA, as global CEO, where she will lead the company’s worldwide operations. Geoffroy brings leadership experience from global consumer brands, having previously held senior roles at Sanofi, Procter & Gamble, Kellogg, Heinz, and Helen of Troy. Vetnique, backed by Gryphon Investors, develops veterinary-founded and veterinary-formulated products, including digestive, joint, dermatological, and ear care solutions.

Amalia Londono, executive vice president, End-to-End Supply Chain, Hill’s Pet Nutrition
Hill’s Pet Nutrition has appointed Amalia Londono as executive vice president of end-to-end supply chain. Londono has experience in supply chain and has more than 25 years of experience at Colgate-Palmolive. Originally from Medellín, Colombia, Londono began her career with Colgate-Palmolive at a manufacturing plant in New Jersey and has since held roles spanning factory operations, procurement, and logistics network design.
In her new role, Londono will oversee the transformation of Hill’s global supply chain ecosystem, which includes 12 manufacturing plants and dozens of warehouses and distribution centers worldwide. The company said the initiative will focus on building a digital, resilient, and sustainable supply network while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and customer experience.
“I am energized by the opportunity to lead the Hill’s supply chain during such a transformative time,” Londono said in a news release.3 “My career has been defined by a passion for developing talented, diverse teams and building efficient networks. I look forward to leveraging digital innovation and sustainable practices to support our powerful mission of enriching the relationships between people and their pets.”
