(Part 1) A technician's role in dermatologic workups

Technicians should be performing diagnostic tests, says Dr. Paul Bloom, DACVDM, DABVP, especially skin scrapings.

Once doctors delegate the responsibility of completing diagnostic tests for dermatologic cases, you must follow certain steps to do the tests correctly. Here's what you need to know, especially when it comes to skin scrapings.
