COLUMBUS, OHIO—The 2004 Ohio Society Association Executives (OSAE) Achievement Award was given to the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) at the OSAE Conference.

The annual award was given to the OVMA for a marketing program developed by the association.

The honor is designed to recognize association communication programs/products and award association staff who had a large responsibility for the execution of the program/product.

OSAE recognizes the time, effort, creativity and talent in the projects OSAE members undertake for the individual associations.

OVMA's marketing program was titled "Veterinary Proud" and helped attract 6,305 attendees for the Midwest Veterinary Conference. The logo and theme were carried through three marketing pieces and incorporated into pins and a post-conference promotion.
