Orthopedic Rehabilitation of the Equine Athlete - A 2-Day Practical Course

This course covers how to use therapeutic exercise including physiotherapy as the foundation of rehabilitation of the equine athlete and how the following therapeutic modalities can be used: Whole body vibration, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, aquatic therapy, ESWT, radiofrequency therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, laser and pulsed electromagnetic therapy. On both afternoons several of these modalities will be applied on clinical cases during the 7 hours of practical small-groups sessions.
