One frame at a time: How to hang artwork in your practice
Smaller practices often struggle with interior decorating budgets. We've found that framing everything we hang on the walls gives our facility a professional look. Framing and matting can cut into our budget quickly, though, so we began using scrapbooking paper to mat our framed documents, such as licenses, certificates, and notices. The paper often has fun themed prints and only costs about $1 per sheet. We also purchase inexpensive frames and paint them the same color so they all look consistent. Making things pretty shows that you care about your clients' perceptions and your staff's morale.
