Olson takes lead at Morris Animal Foundation

Englewood, Colo.-Dr. Patricia N. Olson will lead the Morris Animal Foundation as its executive director.

Olson most recently came from Guide Dogs for the Blind. She has held numerous posts within veterinary academia. She also served as director of veterinary affairs and studies within the American Humane Association.

Olson repalced Dr. Robert Hilsenroth who retired after 12 years of service with the Morris Animal Foundation.

Olson says, "I am truly enthusiastic about promoting the health of all the incredible creatures who share our planet. I view my new position with Morris Animal Foundation as a fabulous opportunity to do that - and I'm honored and humbled to be a part of the Foundation's important work."

Olson has served at numerous veterinary colleges including University of Minnesota, Cornell University and Colorado State University.
