New online platform helps pet owners discover veterinarians

Article

This New York City-based digital platform will aid pet owners in discovering veterinarians who best funnel the needs of their pets, plus saves time for veterinary practices by facilitating booking and onboarding of clients and more.

As of last month, New York City pet owners now have exclusive access to VetVet—a unique online platform that connects owners to talented local veterinarians who can best match their pets’ needs.

According to a company release, this new platform utilizes a search tool that encompasses various niches of veterinary care including general practice, specialty, and emergency care. Additionally, the website also considers affordability for the owners and breaks down veterinary practices by pricing as well.

“The VetVet team has created a digital platform to help pet parents discover incredible veterinarians in New York City,” Dean Elgabri, founder of VetVet, told dvm360.

“VetVet surfaces what makes veterinarians stand out including their unique experience, education, and services offered,” he added.

This innovative digital tool also saves time for veterinary practices by facilitating the booking and onboarding process of new clients. What’s more, the website has a feature that allows veterinary practices to receive feedback from recent clients, thus resolving any issues privately to ensure all online reputations remains unscathed.

Though VetVet is currently only available to New York City residents, Elgabri assured dvm360 that the company plans to expand into new geographies in the future.
