NAVTA announces the winner of the first Technician of the Year award

Kara Burns, MS, MEd, LVT, receives the inaugural award

At its general membership meeting yesterday in conjunction with the North American Veterinary Conference in Orlando, Fla., the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America announced the first recipient of its Veterinary Technician of the Year Award. In this video, the winner, Kara Burns, MS, MEd, LVT, discusses elevating the profession of veterinary technician and inspiring new technicians.
