"In using those products, you potentially could seed an environment that could lead to not only an animal disease, but also a human health disease," he says.
So, while your clients may find these products attractive, Dr. Gerhold encourages you to direct them to other resources-such as the Companion Animal Parasite Council-that feature science-based recommendations.
