-- Hill's Pet Nutrition donated $1 million to the Morris Animal Foundation (MAF), along with pioneering genetic research data from Hill's laboratories, to assist the foundation in its cat health studies.
The research provided by Hill's should provide veterinarians with more information about preventing and treating a wide range of cat diseases, according to the MAF. Part of the $1 million donation also will be used to establish an international coalition for feline genomic research into the causes of cancer, diabetes, allergies and obesity in cats.
