Mid-Atlantic Veterinary Hospital is back and better than ever under new management

HAGERSTOWN, MD (April 4, 2022) – The Mid-Atlantic Veterinary Hospital is in the midst of a reopening – back in business as a Heart + Paw Partner Practice. A full-service veterinary center, Mid-Atlantic is focused on providing stress-free wellness services, including medical care, preventive health care, surgery, diagnostic services, and radiology for pets in one convenient location, as well as a pet pharmacy within the facility.

With the practice owner retiring late last year, Mid-Atlantic was scheduled to close at the end of July. Heart + Paw, one of the fastest growing veterinary care, grooming, and dog daycare center groups in the country, took the opportunity to step in to save the clinic just two days before the practice was set to close. Over the past few months, the Heart + Paw team has been upgrading equipment, installing new technology such as online appointment bookings, and hiring a team of veterinarians, technicians and staff, all with the goal of rebuilding what has always been a great practice in Hagerstown.

Over the past few months, four highly-trained doctors have been brought on board. The practice’s lead veterinarian, Dr. Brittany Cole, DVM, has a wealth of experience in general practice as well as in mobile medicine. Cole is a graduate of University of Glasgow, School of Veterinary Medicine and a Maryland native who now lives in the area.

“I joined this team knowing that Heart + Paw values high-quality care, the well-being of its teams and involvement in the communities they serve,” said Cole. “We are aligned, working as a team to rebuild this practice in a way that supports our pets, pet parents, and the local community.”

Mid-Atlantic Veterinary Hospital is located at 1125 Professional Ct, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
