Managers: Be a mentor, not a friend

A professional environment is not the place to allow friendships to sway opinion.

The policies of your veterinary clinic are not mere suggestions, they're the law of the land. Brian Conrad, CVPM, says that in order to hold staff accountable for following these policies, practice managers need to understand the subtle difference between being a mentor and being a friend.
