The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine will host a veterinary dermatology conference called "A Look at Skin Disease Based on Clinical Lesions/Cutaneous Reaction Patterns in the Dog and Cat" Sept. 7.
A variety of dermatological topics will be discussed, including nodules and draining tracts in cats and dogs and pododermatitis.
Eight hours of continuing-education credit will be earned for the course. The $150 registration fee is due by Aug. 17.
The conference is sponsored by Vetoquinsol USA Inc., Virbac Corp., DVM Pharmaceuticals, Bayer Animal Health and Sogeval.
