Cat claws and hot water blankets don't mix. Here's how to fix a water blanket when it springs leaks.

Cat claws and hot water blankets don't mix. Our water blanket often springs leaks from being scratched or bitten. I've found that wader repair glue used to repair wading boots works great to fix leaks in our blanket. This glue is available at any sporting goods store, and one tube will last a long time. I put a thin layer of glue over the leak, wait 24 hours, and repeat.
