On the Job: Bobbi Wolfgram

Article

What's your biggest challenge in practice?

What's your biggest challenge in practice?

I'm still afraid of large birds, even though we have an avian and exotics department. And I still shy away from reptiles. Snakes really creep me out.

Bobbi Wolfgram, CVT, Florida Veterinary Specialists, Tampa, Fla.

What do you like best about your job?

I like the uniqueness of it. We offer services clients will travel for, such as radiation therapy, cardiology, and critical care. It's a technician's dream to use your skills and push yourself further.

What do you like least about your job?

Mean cats. The mean ones can really wreck your day.

What's your biggest on-the-job blunder?

My team members bought me a birthday cake with trick candles. After I blew them out, I threw them away and they re-lit in the trash can. They really smoked up the place.
