Hill’s to host Hill's Global Symposium

The free virtual event will focus on dermatology

Hill’s Pet Nutrition announced it will be hosting its annual Hill’s Global Symposium on September 29, 2022, in Topeka, Kansas. The symposium will be a free online event that will concentrate on canine and feline dermatology continuing education sessions.

According to the release,1 the symposium welcomes all team members giving them the opportunity to learn about diagnosing, causes, and contributing factors, to science-based approaches to nutrition treatment support for prevention, care, and treatment of dermatological diseases.

Karen Shenoy, DVM, chief veterinary officer at Hill’s US, and Ashley Bourgeois, DVM, DACVD, will host the globally streamed event. Other speakers include Joya Griffin, DVM, Dip. ACVD, and multiple veterinary nutritionists. All sessions have been approved by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB’s) Registry of Approved Continuing Education requirements. Attendees will have the chance to earn up to 6.5 CE credits.

Hill’s will also introduce Prescription Diet Derm Complete, the company’s new specifically formulated dog food that will help reduce allergic responses such as headshaking, licking, scratching, and skin redness in puppies.

The symposium will go from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET and sessions will be available on demand on the symposium's website.
