Expect health insurance to cost about 10 percent more this year, marking five years of double-digit increases, according to The Washington Post. Not surprisingly, rising costs are pushing down the number of small businesses offering employees health coverage, according to studies by the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation. Only 63 percent of small businesses offered healthcare insurance last year, a 5 percent drop from 2001. By comparison, 85 percent of Well-Managed Practices offer at least single-coverage healthcare insurance.
