Removing the privacy wall brings natural light into a reception area that Dr. Sara Mey says updates the original midcentury modern look without sacrificing style. Note the hanging dome light and bead curtains on the windows. The spindly-legged bucket chairs are gone, however, in favor of seating with better cushions.
