Dr. Karli to present Animal Health Industry Insights Seminar at K-State Olathe

Kansas State Universitys Master of Agribusiness (MAB) program is hosting an Animal Health Industry Insights seminar on Wednesday, August 5 at noon at the K-State Olathe Campus. Dr. Steven A. Karli, Director, Inspection and Compliance at the Center for Veterinary Biologics, USDA, APHIS, Vet Services, will be the speaker. He will provide an overview of inspection and compliance program within the Center for Veterinary Biologics, identification of challenges and opportunities in this area for stakeholders and the Center itself. Dr. Karli is responsible for coordination of a national program regulating veterinary biologics manufacturers. Principal activities include regulatory enforcement, compliance actions, inspections/audits of foreign and domestic manufacturing/testing facilities and processes, pharmacovigilance and oversight of the CVB Quality System (ISO 9001:2008) and program information management and security.The seminar is open to the public, but attendees must register at https://commerce.cashnet.com/KSUMABSTORE and pay the $50 registration fee that includes lunch.
