And Im going to show you how to leverage it and create a standardized system in order to increase your revenue, decrease your frustration, and have exactly what you need on hand.Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:- Consolidate inventory, maximize turnover rate, and define reorder points and quantities- Calculate turnover rates, reorder points and quantities, and markup/margin information- Project revenue and cost of goods data to create a working budget with appropriate categories- Utilize their practice management system efficiently to help manage inventory- Define and implement a central storage location, as well as appropriately organize the entire inventory system- Determine when bulk orders are an economical investment for the practice, and how to order in the most economical way- Define direct and indirect costs associated with inventory and how to price items most appropriately- Identify potential causes of discrepancies, errors, and how to monitor and control shrinkage- Set up and establish a Standard Operating Procedure manual for the hospital- Understand the goals and priorities of inventory management, and determine which tasks need to be completed for a high-functioning inventory systemPlease note, this program has been approved for 5 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval.
