A triamcinolone dosage is corrected.
On page 25 of the article "Canine and feline pemphigus foliaceus: Improving your chances of a successful outcome" in the January 2010 issue of Veterinary Medicine, the dose of triamcinolone in cats is incorrect. The dose should have appeared as follows: "In cats with pemphigus foliaceus, triamcinolone has been given at a dosage of 0.6 to 2 mg/kg/day orally, and dexamethasone can be given at a dose of 1.5 mg/cat orally. These doses can be increased as needed.15 "
