Comprehensive pet day camp opens in Odessa, FL

Pet Paradise, a Flordia-based company with locations in 11 different states, opened a new location in the Odessa, FL area, making it the 47th location for the company in the country. The new Odessa location is at 16030 Redstone Way, Odessa, FL 33556. Pet Paradise locations offer overnight boarding, resort-style day camp, professional grooming, and veterinary care under one roof.¹

The veterinary clinic within the facility is provided by NewDay Veterinary Care, a network of veterinary clinics and hospitals owned and operated by Pet Paradise. Currently, NewDay clinics are only available in select Pet Paradise locations, but the company hopes to have NewDay clinics in every new Pet Paradise under operation.

“Pet Paradise and the NewDay Veterinary Care clinic located within the resort will offer Odessa pet parents a comprehensive and high-quality pet care solution,” said Fernando Acosta-Rua, MBA, president and chief executive office of Pet Paradise.¹

NewDay Veterinary Care offers a wide variety of services, including routine exams, diagnostics, vaccinations, surgical procedures, radiology, and dental cleanings.²

“As our offerings continue to evolve, our top priority is to provide our veterinarians, pets, and pet parents with the highest quality medicine,” said Jaime Klimsey Pickett, chief veterinary officer at Pet Paradise.

While at the facility, there are different options to allow the pets to get exercise and socialize with the other animals. Pet Paradise locations offer an “in-ground swimming pool, large play areas, synthetic grass, and indoor play spaces.”¹

There is a separate section for smaller dogs under 30 pounds, in its “Tiny Town.” The resort day camp also has live webcams stationed throughout to allow pet parents to check up on their pets and a report card at the time of pick up.

For overnight boarding, Pet Paradise provides air-conditioned rooms for dogs and size-appropriate spaces for cats.¹ While boarding, pet parents can schedule an appointment at the grooming facility and vet clinic.

Pet Paradise in Odessa is now open for visitors. The company currently has 3 new locations under development with hopes of continuing to expand across the U.S.
