The properties consist of the main campus of Upstate Veterinary Emergency + Specialty Care, the area’s largest veterinary practice

Clarity Veterinary Real Estate, a company that invests in veterinary office properties nationwide, has completed the acquisition of 2 buildings in Greenville, South Carolina. The buildings together offer a total of 41,700 square feet and are 100% leased.

“We are pleased by the opportunity to acquire these prime assets and to work directly with the award-winning veterinarians at Upstate in helping them make the most of their real estate both now and for the long term,” expressed Chip Conk, CEO of Montecito Medical, in a company release.1 Clarity is a wholly owned subsidiary of Montecito Medical, a real estate investment company that has completed over $5 billion in medical real estate transactions.

Featuring 40 veterinarians, Upstate Veterinary Emergency + Specialty Care is not only the largest practice in the Greenville-Spartanburg area but among largest in the US. Along with its main campus in Greenville, the group has a satellite office with 6 veterinarians in Asheville, North Carolina.1

Upstate Veterinary offers care for pets throughout Upstate South Carolina, Western North Carolina, East Tennessee, and North Georgia.

At the Greenville property, Veterinarians at the Greenville location deliver advanced veterinary medical, surgical, neurological, oncological, dental, and eye care. As a specialty provider, the group receives many its patients via referrals.

“This is the most seamless real estate transaction I have ever been involved with, thanks to the team at Clarity Ventures,” said Dermot Jevens, DACVS, in the release. “Their people and their process truly distinguish them from the rest of the market.”

The property is east of downtown Greenville with access to Interstate 385. The fast-growing Greenville-Anderson-Mauldin MSA is the largest in South Carolina and the fourth largest in the Carolinas.1
