In an interview with dvm360®, Kaela Navarro, DVM, explained that a big way she likes to recognize Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month is to support veterinary groups such as Pawsibilities and the Latinx Veterinary Medical Association, by attending webinars and panels that they host throughout the month.

Kaela Navarro, DVM: I do it as much as I can throughout the year but especially with more intention during Hispanic Heritage Month is trying to go to professional webinars or talks that highlight our community.
