Carleton named Outstanding Woman Veterinarian of the Year
East Lansing, Mich. - Dr. Carla Carleton received the 2007 Outstanding Woman Veterinarian of the Year award from the Association of Women Veterinarians Foundation.
EAST LANSING, MICH. — Dr. Carla Carleton received the 2007 Outstanding Woman Veterinarian of the Year award from the Association of Women Veterinarians Foundation. The award honors Carleton, a solo equine theriogenologist at Michigan State University's veterinary college, for her equine health research and teaching, service within the American Veterinary Medical Association's House of Delegates and her work to improve veterinary medicine in other countries.
