Better Evidence. Better Care. The 7th Evidence-based Veterinary Medicine Association (EBVMA) Symposium
Friday, 13 November 2015 (webinar) from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm Pacific
This years event is an opportunity to learn more about the emerging research, education, practice, and implementation of evidence-based veterinary medicine.
Sessions and tutorials may include resources and techniques to improve decision-making for clinicians as well as researchers; how to recognize, critically appraise and apply knowledge from the best evidence in the biomedical literature; approaches to life-long learning; the electronic medical record and learning health systems; the nature of clinical knowledge summaries or systematic reviews; common sources for bias and clinical errors; emerging trends in the conduct, publication and registration of clinical trials and more.
This is an online webinar and open to an international audience. The EBVMA is RACE (American Association of Veterinary State Boards) provider number 895. Pending speaker submissions and program review, we expect approval from between 4-7 continuing education units (October 2015).
Important dates:
- Speaker proposals are due 31 July 2015. Detailed speaker requirements and submission information can be found on the EBVMA wiki 
- Registration, including student, librarian, technician and EBVMA member discounts will open late Summer 2015.
