Basic Small Animal Ultrasound

University of Wisconsin; School of Veterinary Medicine; Continuing Veterinary Medical Education.This program offers small animal clinicians an entry level introduction to diagnostic ultrasound including scanning routine, basic measurements, image optimization and purchasing guidelines. Four hours of lectures will cover major abdominal organ sonographic anatomy and scanning technique for both dogs and cats. Four hours of hands-on opportunities will be provided on normal dogs. Animals will be scanned in lateral recumbency. Taught at a DVM level. Limited enrollment.
