AVMA meeting draws 9,130 to Seattle
Seattle -- Some 4,228 veterinarians attended the American Veterinary Medical Association's (AVMA) meeting this week.

-- Some 4,228 veterinarians attended the American Veterinary Medical Association’s (AVMA) meeting this week.

Total attendance jumped almost 16 percent from last year, the association reports. A total of 9,130 attendees converged on Seattle -- up from 7,888 last year in New Orleans.
Other attendance numbers included: veterinary students, 470; veterinary technicians and tech students, 580; practice staff, 175; exhibitors, 1,081; other non-veterinarians, 2,736.
