The 2023 Fetch dvm360 Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina featured many notable lecturers. They delivered expert insights, relevant research, and the latest advancements and trends in veterinary medicine during sessions at the Charlotte Convention Center.

Faculty speakers also sat down with dvm360 to discuss a variety of topics, including those pertaining to the business side of veterinary practice. Watch highlights from some of these discussions as follows:

  1. Hiring employees in line with your brand: According to Bash Halow, LVT, CVPM, for your veterinary practice to truly "soar," it's key to understand your brand so you can hire ideal employees. In this video, he further describes how this can be achieved during the interview process.
  2. How to discuss finances with clients: Kate Boatright, VMD, recommends remaining nonjudgmental when discussing finances with clients. In this interview, she provides further advice on this subject, which was covered during her Fetch lecture.
  3. Proper praise for a flourishing team environment: Andi Davison, BS, BA, LVT, CAPP, positive change agent with Flourish Veterinary Consulting, shares tools on using proper praise to build "superhero" team members.
