2009 Year in Review: Mixed reviews on ear cropping decision

2009 Year in Review

The late 2008 decision by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) to reaffirm its opposition to ear-cropping and tail docking drew praise from animal-rights groups and sharp criticism from the American Kennel Club in early January. AVMA urged the elimination of ear cropping and tail docking from breed standards. Go to AVMA gets mixed reaction to ear-crop policy.
