New incentives are emerging to entice veterinary graduates to take jobs in public health or food-animal practice. In fact, the National Veterinary Medical Services Act will start distributing $4.8 million in loan repayments this fall. States like Ohio, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Washington, Wyoming and Kansas are also offering veterinary student-debt assistance plans. Go to Incentives to enter large-animal practice on the rise.
