2009 Year in Review: Down, but not out

In January, talk of recession turned to that of a depression. Working from its highs of more than 11,000 in late 2008, the Dow Jones Industrial Average continued its free fall in January, ultimately hitting rock bottom on March 6 at 6626.94.
